
CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
This gamemode revolves around an incredibly unique and in-depth base building system. This area of development alone took almost two years to finish. Below showcases an introduction to the construction system and all of the building variants.
THE DESIGN LOGIC
While trying to replicate the Lambda Wars RTS structure purposes to the best of our ability we decided to add significant twists increasing the scale as much as possible and really pushing the limitations of the source engine to its limits. The goal was to immerse the player into feeling like they are apart of an operational base whether it’s the Headquarters sector or a FOB sector. Each building needs to feel alive, active, and providing purpose for your team. You can find descriptions for each building in the tutorials.
