Map Voting

To maintain the concept of dynamic direction we decided to have each territory zone offer alternate attack routes for other various territories instead of following a linear path. When your faction wins a battle they get to select which location to attack next that is connected to the newly captured territory.

Territory Routes

Each route in the map offers a unique direction with different terrain features. Shorter routes favor the defending side and the closer territories are to a team’s main base the more the terrain favors the defenders. Special territories such as Boreas research or Nova Prospekt are event maps with altered gameloops designed in an attack / defend style setup with the defenders having a strategic advantage. The first faction to successfully capture the opposing side’s main territory (Citadel 17: Combine, White Forest: Resistance) wins the entire war.
